Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are delighted to welcome Dale Shires to our fantastic team.
Dale has over six years’ experience working with young people from the United Kingdom and South East Asia; Dale joins as NCS Coordinator for the Community Trust.
For the past 4 years Dale has been working in Koh Samui, Thailand on a project that specialises in developing community links between International Schools and Cambridge Assessment International Education. During his time in Asia, Dale has taught Outdoor Pursuits, Physical Education, Science and Health to a wide variety of ethnicities and a diverse range of backgrounds.
“I am thrilled to join Rotherham United Community Sports Trust; it is a very established club which I believe has the facilities in place to better the community of Rotherham. I have a real passion for nurturing young people within a safe environment and guiding them in the right direction towards future opportunities” added Shires, who is also a TEFL/TESOL Tutor. “I am focusing on working with Young People’s Services and would welcome any advice on how to develop additional links”.
