CHARITY DIG FOR COMBAT STRESS
On Sunday the 17th Jan 2016 Rotherham United Community Sports Trust Staff member Russell Morgan organised and ran a Charity event to raise money for two organisations one being the local military support group MCVC and the other being Combat Stress.
Russell Morgan, Employability Tutor said “it was a fantastic event which was well supported even though the weather conspired to spoil the day. Despite the snow the hard-core turned out in force and we managed to raise in excess of £700 on the day with pledges still to come in, we would like to Thank to Jamie Noble (Head of Community) for his continued support .
Rotherham Community Sports Trust donated a signed match ball that was won Mr Nigel Wheeler his son is a RUFC Fan , so well pleased
Russell runs the Millers Community Jobshop that is open on the following days:
Wednesday at NY Stadium 10am til 12 lunch
Wednesday at Eastwood Community Centre Erskin Road 1pm to 3 pm
Thursday Mowbray Garden Library 10 am til 12 Lunch
