Millers community jobshop has great success in helping the unemployed!
The Millers Community Jobshop continues to thrive after a short break, The success can be put down to the support from all who access the Jobshop, the drop in initiative , and quality support from full time staff and volunteers, not forgetting the friendly welcoming atmosphere at all venues.
In the first two months of re-starting the project we have already had 10 Job outcomes in either full time or part time employment which is 20% of attendees, which is fantastic for both the people attending Jobclub and for the image of Rotherham United Community Sports Trust.
All attendees have received help with theirs CV’s, using Universal Jobmatch and helped with basic IT and email attachments.
The Jobshop is a community Drop in centre with access to a suite of lap-tops , Internet access , free printing, paper and use of a telephone for Job seeking.
We have also extended our support into a new area of Rotherham bringing our outreach to Mowbray Gardens Library, and Eastwood community Centre on Erskin Road and not forgetting New York Stadium.
Opening times are stated below:
Wednesdays NY Stadium 10 am til 12 lunch and 13.00 to 15.00 at Eastwood Community Centre.
Mowbray Gardens 10 am til 12 Lunch

INCLUSION | We are wearing our shirt backwards to support Mind’s #HaveYourMatesBack campaign for better mental health in football, in partnership with the EFL. With 1 in 4 experiencing mental health problems we all know someone who needs support. Drop them a line, ask if they are ok, let them know you are there for them. It can make a difference.
