This summer on the 17th and 18th of June, millions of people across the country will be getting together to celebrate all that we have in common.
Rotherham’s Great Get Together, will be held at Clifton Parks Bandstand on Saturday 17th June 10:30am – 3:30pm.
The event marks one year since MP Jo Cox was killed. Jo lived her life according to the belief that we have more in common than divides us, and in that spirit, her husband Brendan and friends are hoping as many of us as possible will mark the anniversary by organising or attending a celebration in our community that weekend.
Miller Bear and Head of Community, Jamie Noble are set to attend the event which is open to ALL and will have free food, music artists, workshops plus more.
A one minutes silence will be held at 1pm in memory of Jo Cox.
