Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are delighted to be supporting Ray Matthews in his fundraising efforts!
We have a Signed Rotherham United shirt and a signed Rotherham United football up for grabs in separate auctions. In addition to this, we will be giving a match day Programme from the Nottingham Forest fixture with each item auctioned. (Links below)
Ray is raising funds for Newman School in Whiston – a specialist school for children with disabilities. His goal is to raise £75,000 to completely rubber coat the entire playground areas at the school, and donations are still flooding in.
Ray has recently finished the unbelievable feat of completing 75 marathons in 75 days to coincide with his 75th birthday – a remarkable achievement.

INCLUSION | We are wearing our shirt backwards to support Mind’s #HaveYourMatesBack campaign for better mental health in football, in partnership with the EFL. With 1 in 4 experiencing mental health problems we all know someone who needs support. Drop them a line, ask if they are ok, let them know you are there for them. It can make a difference.
