Health and Wellbeing Education for 11-18 years
‘Nothing is more valuable than education. Nothing is more important than health.’
Our BBC Children in Need project launched in August 2016 and will be live until August 2020.
Our team are working with 1200 children and young people aged 11-18 years from the most deprived areas of the borough, educating them on how to improve their health and wellbeing. Topics include healthy eating, smoking, drugs and alcohol, sugar, healthy relationships and CSE, internet safety, bullying, knife crime and hate crime.
Young people who engage with the project are offered a free place on our young leaders qualification which is an accredited course through Sports Leaders UK, as well as the opportunity to volunteer with the trust.
If you know a group of young people who would benefit from being involved in this project drop us a message below.
