Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures – a series of movements designed to increase strength, flexibility and breathing.

Our yoga instructor Jenny has years of yoga experience meaning she can support both beginner and advanced participants.

Sessions are delivered in the air conditioned / heated Activity Suite at New York Stadium.

Tuesdays 5.30-7.00pm
Thursdays 12.00-1.00pm
£5 per session

Tai Chi

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be’

Our tai chi class combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements.

Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, tai chi is now practiced around the world as a health-promoting exercise. It can help people to reduce stress, improve posture, balance and general mobility, as well as increase muscle strength in the legs.

Join us every Wednesday 12.30pm-1.30pm in the activity suite at New York Stadium.
