INCLUSION | New Ability Counts League

Our Inclusion department are delighted to join the Sheffield Ability Counts League.

The Inclusion team and their participants have joined Sheffield Ability Counts League for ages u12 and u16, and a separate league open to any age. This means anybody in the pan-disability community can have the opportunity to represent Rotherham United.

Every Miller Matters!

As part of our Ability Counts programme we want to offer every opportunity for pan-disability children to play in a safe fun environment. This includes a session full of activities, arts, crafts and support at our Youth Club or at our football sessions at Parkgate Astro. The idea behind it, is kids who want to have fun in a controlled, safe environment whether its outdoor sport or indoor activities. Parents attend and can immediately see the confidence and enjoyment improvements for their child.

Youth Club Sessions: The AESSEAL New York Stadium – Every Wednesday at 5:00pm- 7:00pm
Football Session: Parkgate Astro – Every Monday at 5:00pm – 7:00pm

A parent said “My child has experience with anxiety, but since coming to these sessions, he has fun playing with the other members and talking to staff.”
