NEWS | Michael Smith announced as PFA Community Champion for Rotherham United FC

Michael has been named Rotherham United’s PFA Community Champion of the year for 2021/2022 thanks to his amazing commitment to making a difference in Rotherham.

The leading goal scorer has not just showed his passion on the field, he brings the same attitude when it comes to making a difference in the community. Throughout this season he has attended numerous events and sessions for the Club and Trust, visiting local primary schools, local community sessions, key stake holder events, match day activities plus many more.

Michael Smith said “Here at Rotherham United it is important we help out in the community when representing this club, so I am very grateful to accept this award and to keep putting smiles on peoples faces”
