RUCST Summer Soccer Camps

RUCST Launch NEW Summer Soccer Camp Roadshow!

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are delighted to announce that this summer they will be taking their hugely successful soccer camps to a venue near you!

This summer RUCST will be launching the Future Stars Roadshow where a condensed 2 day version of their successful week long soccer camps will be delivered throughout the 6 week summer break at various venues around Rotherham. RUCST will be bringing the camps to you this summer in as many areas as possible ranging from Swinton right across to Woodsetts.

The camps will be run by our FA qualified coaches and will give children the chance to learn and develop new skills whilst interacting with others in a safe and fun environment.

The trusts sports development manager James Rawlinson said, “We are hoping that the Future Stars Roadshow will give as many children as possible the chance to access our high quality coaching. We have already ran successful camps at Wickersley School and Sports College but we understand that these are not accessible to everyone. The roadshow will see 2 camps a week running in 2 different areas of Rotherham ranging from Swinton right the way to Anston and Woodsetts. We feel this will allow people from any area of Rotherham to attend at least one camp and discover the fantastic fun sessions our coaches can deliver.”

The dates and venues of the Future Stars Roadshow are as follows:

The hugely successful Millers Masterclass soccer camps will also be returning this summer and will also run under the Trust’s new Future Stars banner. The structure of the camps and the quality of coaching will remain exactly the same.

Our Future Stars sessions give children the chance to interact with each other, play football and have fun while keeping active. There will be loads of gifts and prizes to be won! The participants will also have the chance to meet Rotherham United FC players.

Sports Development Manager James added, “The masterclasses at Wickersley always prove successful with an average of 60 children attending every camp, the name is the only thing that we will change as we want to move the soccer camps under our new Future Stars banner. We want all the work that we do outside of school time to be recognisable as Future Stars work going forward the soccer camps will join our already successful Saturday morning clubs and the upcoming Roadshow as activities we offer through our Future Stars brand.”

All camps will be running from 10am – 3pm and cost just £10 a day or £40 per week for 5-14 year olds. As a special offer for the summer holidays a block of any 10 days can be booked at a reduced cost of £80, please note this booking must be made before Friday 17th July.
