RUCST Support Kick It Out

At Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, we believe in the continuous strive for equality in all our programmes. We understand the need to consciously challenge the prejudices that unfortunately plague the sport that we love. We are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with all communities within Rotherham, using a range of different sporting activities promoted through our fantastic Premier League Kicks programme that thrives off bringing people of all diverse cultures together.

The sessions we deliver are based on the views and wishes of the local community, requesting activities such as Football, where high quality facilities are booked and provided for people to engage and play at no cost, boxing, where we utilize local boxing gyms and world famous boxing coaches alongside professional boxers such as the current IBO super Feather-weight Champion and Premier League Kicks Ambassador Terri Harper and former WBC Welterweight and Light welterweight Champion Junior Witter. Rotherham United Community Sports Trust aims to be at the forefront of tackling all social challenges, using sport to allow our participants to embrace their individuality whist providing them with the opportunity to be part of something greater, incorporating all cultures and backgrounds into our sessions and creating an environment where everyone can achieve and feel like they belong.

The trust deploys a team of dedicated and professional coaches that understand the importance of engaging with the people of Rotherham, making connections within communities and thriving towards reaching our overall aim of uniting the whole of Rotherham together as one, breaking down the barriers through physical activities and educational workshops. Everyone here at Rotherham United are devoted to our community and believe the heights that we are hoping to achieve will help to provide a safer, more inclusive environment for all.
