Premier League Primary Stars

Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

Designed by teachers for teachers, the curriculum-linked teaching resources support English, Maths, PSHE and PE, with flexible activity ideas, worksheets, lesson plans, assemblies and exclusive videos. PSHE topics include resilience, diversity, self-esteem and fair-play.

Jonathan Allan, Community Programme Manager, said:

“This project uses the power of football, the Rotherham United and The Women’s Euros brands to give children the opportunity to enhance their learning in a practical way. As a trust there is more to our work than just sport and supporting different ways to engage pupils with their learning is something we are very passionate about. Covid had such a negative impact on so many services, including the library, so we are delighted to be able to support the Riverside Library and Neighbourhood team to welcome schools back to the facility”
