Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) is celebrating royal recognition after being awarded the Duke of York’s Community Initiative.
Rotherham United Community Sports Trust is one of just 42 Yorkshire based community groups, who in its latest round of awards have been recognised by the prestigious royal reward scheme The Duke of York’s Community Initiative.
RUCST works alongside Rotherham United Football Club to bring a better standard of living to various groups across the borough of Rotherham.
The Trust is a community development programme that works across the borough of Rotherham in deprived areas with different communities and age groups, delivering under the three main themes of the Football League Trust: Education, Health & Wellbeing and Sport and Community Development.
Through the power of football RUCST promote physical and emotional health, healthy eating, healthy lifestyle, learning, conﬁdence building, social integration and community cohesion.
