We are excited to announce the launch of “Future Stars: Girls” which is a girls only strand of our successful Future Stars development programme.
The aim is to engage girls aged 5 – 11 in football, whether they’re a complete beginner or already playing with a club, and help develop their skills & knowledge of the game through fun & challenging sessions at our wonderful facility, Parkgate Astro.
Football Development Coach, Adam Pilgrim said “I am delighted to be getting this project up and running, as I feel we can have a really positive impact on girls football in Rotherham. There are some local clubs doing some fantastic work in the area to provide playing opportunities for girls, and we want to support this by using the brilliant, experienced staff we have at our disposal to offer a place where young people who love playing football can come and improve their skills & knowledge. The boys pathway through Future Stars which we have developed over the last few years has seen a huge amount of success, I’m hoping we can now replicate this through our girls strand and provide opportunities for young female footballers in Rotherham.”
Future Stars: Girls will be launching as soon as lockdown is lifted and football training is deemed safe to operate by government, DCMS & The FA. To register your child’s interest please complete the form below, and we will be in touch.
